A wildlife pond
Positioned at the top of the lawn, this area was reimagined to introduce a wildlife pond and create a softer transition between grass and boundary planting. The intention was to bring greater depth and ecological interest to what had previously been a simple, open stretch of lawn.
The new pond forms the centre of the space, edged with natural stone and surrounded by layered planting designed to support pollinators and aquatic life. A mix of perennials, grasses and flowering plants provides seasonal colour and texture, while the timber trellis and surrounding greenery offer shelter and enclosure.
The result is a relaxed garden corner that feels settled and integrated within the wider space, adding movement, reflection and quiet interest throughout the year.
